This is all about 15 awesome self-care sunday ideas to start your week off fresh, relaxed and ready to have the best week!
Firstly, we need to set aside some time to be present in the moment and clear our minds so we aren’t going to worry or think about all the things we have to do this week, stuff we need to get done, stuff we should have done etc.
The moment is now, be present in what you are doing now because the other stuff is going to come no matter if you worry about it now or deal with it when it happens.
Now that we are present and mindful let’s start self-care Sunday…or any day of the week you want a little pampering 🙂
15 Self-Care Sunday Ideas for you to try!
- Pampering spa day at home. Try using a facial steamer to open and cleanse your pores, after use a clay mask, and then do a gua sha routine with a moisturizing oil.
- Read or listen to something motivational and uplifting. What we listen to and absorb from our environment is so important to how we feel.
- Try an exercise routine! Even if it’s just something light, get your body moving.
- Take a warm bath with epsom salts and listen to some calming music.
- Stretch or do a yoga routine.
- Paint your nails or even better… get your nails done!
- Clear your mind and say some positive affirmations in the mirror. Even if it feels super silly, push that aside and be mindful of your self talk.
- Go for a walk outside in nature. Find a trail or somewhere with trees and nature to be surrounded by. Breathe the fresh air and take in the calm beauty of nature.
- Shave your legs and do a full body exfoliation. (use a salt scrub, exfoliating mitt or loofah)
- Dry brush your skin-Your lymphatic system will thank you and you will feel refreshed and ready for the week ahead. (Tip: Research dry brushing methods, you’re supposed to go in specific directions with the lymphatic system. There are many tutorials online.)
Self-care is not always bubble baths and face masks, make sure you take care of your body, mind and soul.
- Deep conditioning hair mask. You can make your own DIY moisturizing hair mask using natural ingredients. I typically use coconut oil and shea butter to deep condition my hair.
- Do something crafty or experiment with trying a new hobby. (Try soap making, candle making, DIY tutorials, drawing, painting etc.) Create something!

- Find something funny to watch. You could try a comedy special, a funny YouTube compilation etc. Find something you find humorous, whatever that might be, laughter is the best medicine!
- Set some realistic goals for the week ahead and prepare yourself for the coming week, so it’s less stressful during the week.
- Journal. If you don’t know what to write about there are plenty of journal prompt suggestions out there, you could create a manifestation journal where you script your dream life or you could just brain dump and get everything out on paper.
